Paper Size: A3【29.7*42cm】 (actual painting area)

Entry Fee, including online exhibition and evaluation expenses.

NZ$35 NZD for the first artwork, and $15 for each subsequent artwork;

Each candidate is limited to submitting three artworks; excess submissions will not be considered. candidates must declare that their works are original. In the event of plagiarism or the submission of digitally reproduced or printed works, registration will be revoked, and appropriate actions will be taken.

Note:

Physical Exhibition Fee: at the Old Auckland Railway Station,

For New Zealand candidate, FREE. Candidates shall be responsible for own artwork framing.

For candidates out of New Zealand, $15 including framing and venue fees. The postage for return will apply as per candidates’ countries.

no exceptions will be made for overdue submissions.

Authors whose works are selected for the online exhibition and do not need to mail their artworks will not incur additional charges. No refunds will be provided for works that are not selected.

The "2024 IWS New Zealand International Watercolour Competition" (Adult Category) will run concurrently with the Children's Category. Stay tuned for more information!

The International Watercolour Society (IWS) New Zealand reserves the right to interpret the final rules of this event.
